An exciting opportunity for a great communicator to join the UK’s leading Healthcare recruiter has arisen. If you’re looking for a role with variety then this could be it. You will be meeting candidates, conducting compliance meetings and delivering training sessions in various locations, splitting your time between office and field appointments.
HCL Workforce Solutions are a leading Health and Social Care recruiter with an excellent, long-standing reputation in the market. We are currently looking to attract a Compliance and Training Officer to support our teams of recruiters. Your primary base location will be Manchester but the role will also be split location with our office in Leeds as well as attending other smaller regional appointments throughout the week.
The vacancy is an interesting position that blends a variety of both candidate facing contact with administrative and reporting based compliance responsibility. The purpose of the role is to enable us to recruit and complete the compliance checks required for our agency workers, ensuring they are eligible to work in the UK, meet all the current requirements of their relevant governing bodies, appropriate framework agreement/s, and HCL company standards. To achieve this, we hold regular compliance events on site at our office along with field based one to one appointments where we invite agency workers who are looking to work through HCL to meet with us so that we can assess their suitability to carry out the post applied for, assess and take copies of their original documents (passports, certificates etc) and also provide training on topics such as basic life support skills (train the trainer courses provided). You will also be responsible for organising compliance events, scheduling local field based appointments, diary management, reporting, and chasing up compliance documentation as required.
As a leading health and social care recruiter, HCL cater to clients across the UK and provide the opportunity for the healthcare professionals who wish to register with us or already work through HCL, to provide their compliance documentation to us at times that support their shift patterns. In light of this the post holder will be required to work 5 days out of 6, Monday – Saturday on a rotation basis (with a weekday off in lieu of this, equivalent to 40 hours per week). This role will require regular travel to field appointments with the expectation being a minimum of 2-3 days per week office based between our Leeds and Manchester offices and the balance field based within the local region.
We are very open to receiving CV’s from a variety of backgrounds although experience of working within a clinical/healthcare setting would be a distinct advantage. Contact us today to apply or for more information.
