One company, seven divisions, countless reasons to work with us
The HCL family is made up of seven specialist divisions. It is through these highly focused business areas that we can offer an unrivalled depth of knowledge, breadth of experience and wealth of expertise to ensure we deliver on your behalf, every time – whatever your requirements
Within each division, we have built highly trained and regulated teams of professional agents who are dedicated to delivering an outstanding service in the following areas:
With more than a decade working exclusively in the medical locum market, we’re trusted to supply hospitals and Trusts up and down the country with the highest calibre locums in every specialism and grade.
We supply permanent healthcare professionals of every specialism and grade to hospitals and Trusts throughout the UK. We can tailor our search and selection methods to ensure we find you staff with not only the right skills and experience for a role, but the right cultural fit.
As we face a shortage of home grown healthcare staff, recruiting internationally has never been more crucial. We bring a proven track record of sourcing overseas candidates. Our consultants understand the proficiency of professionals who are trained abroad – and know how to attract the best talent from around the globe.
Here at HCL, patient safety is at the heart of everything we do. As such, everyone who works with us can be confident they are receiving a fully risk-managed service with the very highest clinical governance standards.
Each division has its own compliance team that reports directly to the divisional MD. Their role is to ensure all candidates who register with HCL are compliant to our stringent standards. They oversee quality assurance through audit reviews, complaint management, setting policy and adhering to all best practice and legislative requirements.
At the helm Compliance for the whole business is our Head of Clinical Governance. It’s one of the most accountable roles in our organisation, illustrated by the expertise of the current post holder: 20 years’ nursing experience in clinical, education and leadership roles, combined with seven years in quality governance risk management roles within the health and social care recruitment sector.
